Opportunities

Interested in Joining the Scott Lab?

The Scott Lab is currently recruiting graduate students to examine the physiological and molecular mechanisms of high-altitude adaptation in small mammals. Potential research areas are flexible, and could include cardiorespiratory physiology, thermogenesis, mitochondrial function, and/or host-microbiome interactions. Possible start dates throughout 2025-2026. Please contact Graham Scott (scottg2@mcmaster.ca) if you’re interested in learning more! I would love to hear about your interests and to learn a bit about your background (CV, research experience, etc.).

We always welcome inquiries from bright, motivated students and postdocs from all backgrounds who share our interest in comparative physiology and our commitment to equity and inclusion. Please contact me to learn about other opportunities in the lab.
